After a trip filled with obstacles, arriving at Mary’s apartment was a relief for Dima and they immediately clicked. They spent hours at her kitchen table, sharing meals and drinking beers, and stayed in touch after he moved into another apartment. “It was a gigantic boost to my start here,” Dima says. Mary and Dima’s story is just one of thousands. Airbnb.org’s global community has shown us the difference one person can make.
