This controller is actually studier than a lot of third party controllers and has some weight to it, which was pleasantly surprising. The colour is gorgeous and I love the design of it. It did take me a little while to be able to pair it with my Switch (I ended up plugging the controller into the dock with my switch in it), but after the initial pairing, it works very easily.

Okay, storytime- I decided to create a new island and went hunting for my favourite map. I found my map! I was cursed with butt trees (I mean peach trees 😒) and mums (the bane of my existence). This was after several hours. I didn’t realize that you can’t save until you have your nook phone… so I took my game card out. Cue me frantically hunting for this map again for several more hours. At least now I have cherries… even if I’m stuck with stupid mums again. Oh well.

I tripped and fell and bought this on switch. Oops! This has 100% become my most played game, especially recently. I usually play with my siblings (who are at a MUCH higher level than me). I went back and forth with this game for a long time, and finally decided to go for it and buy the game. I highly recommend it, as many have done before me, to fans of games like Stardew Valley. I’m still in the super early stages of figuring out where I want to place everything in my little town, but it’s cute and a lot of fun so far. I’ve spent more hours than I care to admit trying to get this mod installed, and I’m very proud that I have FINALLY managed to successfully import this. It modifies elements of the first Witcher game, such a retextures, fixing elements such as blood splatters, some musical changes, and many more.

I picked up this game while I was on break a while back during a sale for $3 CAD. The game is about a little human named Hue who is running around, trying to bring colour back into the world after someone has drained it. While it may look like a platformer, it’s a puzzle game that requires you to press down on your joycons.

This game also offers a colourblind mode, so accessibility was definitely part of the design. The game is a little rage inducing at times because it requires some timing skills. It is very satisfying when you do finally manage to do it properly though.

I’m going to admit something: I’m a sucker for a good deal, and I’m a curious human being. So when all I saw all the positive reviews or Skyrim and the talk about how it’s a great cozy game. While I completely agree that this definitely has great cozy potential, I really suck at being a pacifist in these games. Meet Eriyelle, my Breton counterpart who enjoys beating people with her Iron Warhammer but enjoys hanging out with horses. I don’t know much about the game and would appreciate some pointers- but for now I’ll keep running from village to village, looting and stealing horses.

This game has quickly become one of most-played games. I really enjoy the online multiplayer aspect of the game because it gives me a chance to play with my siblings, friends, and strangers at the same level as me. Am I the best at it?
