Hi, it's me! (waving with my fork) 👋 I'm Michelle, the blogger behind Blackberry Babe (@blackberrycooks) I took it easy on social media last year, so some of you are new here and I have yet to introduce myself! I've been developing and photographing recipes for the last 8 years. For the last 3 years, it's been my full time job, and yes, I LOVE it. I started learning to cook as a way to unwind at the end of the work day. I know cooking is stressful for some, but for me, it felt so good to chop, sauté and experiment with food after a day of sitting at a computer. I cook a LOT (we're talking 2-3 dishwasher loads a day), and you'll see most of my new recipes land on my site, www.blackberrybabe.com. When I'm not in the kitchen, you can find me taking yoga, reading in my hammock, and shooting hoops or playing Fortnite with my son (got to keep him humble)! 😂 I'm married to my high school sweetheart, Craig, who works in education and our little family of three (plus pets) is super tight knit. We love to travel (it's mountains or beach for me), and spend time on our party pontoon with friends during the summer! Last year, I really tracked how much time I spent (wasted?) on social media. It was super good for me mentally, and surprisingly, it was good for my business because I was focused on my bread and butter (my website).
