Breaking the Stigma for B

Instagram

As we wrap up this project today on Batsheva’s, z”l, yahrzeit, we wanted to give everyone some ideas for how to commemorate her. These ideas are both for people who knew her and those that learned about her story after her death.

Thank you to everyone who helped bring this project to life whether by contributing a submission or following along and engaging with our message. We hope you continue carrying on the spirit of the project and fighting the stigma of mental illness.
“If just one person was able to feel less alone in their struggles with mental illness through this project, then we’ve succeeded in achieving our goal." - @tamarasoleymani
"Thank you to everyone who shared memories of Batsheva, so that those who didn't know her could see how amazing she was, and those that did know her would be able to continue to be inspired by Batsheva. It is impossible to encapsulate how amazing Batsheva truly was, but if even one follower of this page was able to see how impactful Batsheva's life was then I can call this page a success.” - @hanban0608
”[W]e will actually be helping other schools learn how to create such [mental health awareness] clubs by presenting at the upcoming virtual Prizmah Mental Health Summit… [T]he entire initiative, is dedicated to Batsheva's memory. Other schools will start these clubs, teens will support one another, and hopefully lives will be saved- in Batsheva's merit..”
