I have a habit of constantly filling in the empty spaces in my life

with music
with podcasts
with videos
with random stuff on my phone

and I didn’t realize how much of an impact it was having on my ability to think / write / function

think of yourself as a computer

even if you have a lot of RAM, multitasking and hopping from one task to another without any kind of purpose or is just going to overwhelm your device

take a step back and move with intention, utilize your empty spaces

They’re more important than you may think
