Psyched for the return of @londonsurffilmfest this December - celebrating 10 trips round the 🌞. We launched the free-surfing live AV show & film, Translate there 2 years ago 🙏🧜‍♂️

Now stoked to enter this beau short film from Rebecca Smith @urbanprojections who re-interpreted spun some magic out of @chrismcclean original footage into the LSFF Shorties competition.

Rebecca described her process beautifully here...
"The film footage is incredibly powerful, but amazingly delicate and elegant. It encapsulates the beauty and interconnectedness of us with the natural world. I really wanted to reflect this in a very digital way. Much of my work juxtaposes these values with an overtly digital aesthetic. I played with creating wave studies from particles, taking the idea that one single point has a ripple effect out to others. This interconnectedness is something that really interests me."

The track is the Translate title track feat. @robertthomascomposer with additional production from my bro @thepiscesrising.

Seeeriously stoked+ to say that 3 incredible films that I've worked on are screening at this years' @britishfilminstitute #bfilondonfilmfestival

🚀First up is sound design on @akinoladaviesjr 's visionary sci-fi short, X-US screening Oct 9th & 10th in the free Foresight programme at South Bank.

On Oct 10th is the world premiere of Nascondino (Hide&Seek) - in the documentary competition - shot in Napoli (where my Nana was from 🇮🇹). Untold love to director @victoria.fiore for bringing me in to create the score for this beautifully moving film - set in a world & exploring issues that are so close to my heart.

Then on Friday 15th is the UK premiere of @ruthpaxton 's 🖤 exquisitely delicious 'A Banquet' starring @jessalxander & @guilloryguillorybe which was my first solo feature score and needs to be seen (and heard) on the big screen - so please get your tickets - see u there.
