Happy September Gamers!

It’s time to make my Animal Crossing islands lovely and Autumnal again and I’m so excited!

Hessa will be general, countryside Autumn themed and on Panem I’m going very mushroom themed this time ~ I’m hoping to do a little decorating stream on Friday but I’ll keep you posted on that.

But because I love interior designing, I’m really looking forward to making all my Little Lo’s houses even more cosy and warm as well ~ I’ve already made a start on Little Lo’s Embassy house on Risa!

I got to hang out with one of my favourite ACNH friends last night!

JB, who is one of the lovely hosts of the Animal Crossing podcast @thepocketpod {if you play the game and you’re not listening to it, then I don’t know what you’re doing with your life!} came over to visit Tipper in Panem.

I showed her around as it’s changed a lot since she last came and we just had so much fun! She put out most of my campfires and met Bernard, my pet Brachiosaurus who lives behind the Museum.

NH is the first AC game that I’ve played with non-family members and being apart of the community that’s tied to the PocketPod Podcast is so wonderful as it’s given me the opportunity to make friends with people who share my love of this wonderful game!

I hope you all had a good weekend! I did some Korok hunting in BOTW yesterday and it was a nice change of pace from all the ACNH tropical decorating I’ve doing all last week for an island that Little Lo lives on.

There’s still a few little things left that need sorting, as well as a few interior projects to do but the person who’s island it is has said that once it’s done, I can share the Dream Address with you all!

My island of Hessa is named after a city in @vrothbooks two book series, Carve The Mark and Hushflowers are featured many times through the series ~ they’re used in different medicines but are also highly poisonous. So for the safety of Hessa’s residents they’ve been fenced off.

Bit of a different post for me today but one of my cats was just being even more adorable than normal when I was playing ACNH in bed yesterday morning, that I wanted to share it.

He’ll often come and sit with me when I’m gaming and watch what I’m doing on my Switches. But yesterday, he just wanted to sit with me. He always has to be touching me as well.

Meet Panem’s newest Hunger Games Victor, Kyle!

Butch decided it was time to move on and so Kyle has moved in. He was on my list of four villagers I was wanting and he was on the fourth mystery island I visited.

I almost kept going but he fits in perfectly with the Panem theme {though it’s not fully themed at the moment} as there’s a big musical element in the series prequel, The Ballard of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins with the introduction of Lucy Grey and the Covey in that story.

Hello Gamers,

After seeing @stardewally playing Haven Park, I decided to pick it up myself and it’s absolutely adorable!

It reminds me of A Short Hike but instead of just wandering around the nature park, you have to help maintain and repair things around the park.

It’s such a wholesome little game and Flint the little yellow bird that you play as is very cute and I’m really enjoying it. I think my only “negative” is that when you look at the map of the park, it doesn’t show your location and that would be really helpful but it’s definitely not effecting my overall enjoyment of this game.

Have you tried Haven Park yet? I’d love to know what you think if you have.

If you haven’t tried it yet but looking for a new cosy game, I’d definitely recommend checking it out, especially as it’s on sale in the Nintendo e-shop right now.
