Hi I’m Rebecca, a mid-20s career changer 👋

Career trajectory:
pharmacist > front end dev (realised not for me) > aspiring UX/UI designer

What’s been happening?

-Feb 2023 to May 2023: Worked in a fast moving digital marketing agency as digital and communications specialist where I learnt how to use Adobe Creative Suite, UX redesigns in Figma, website audits and maintenance and look at SEO and google data analytics, etc.
However the emphasis was on communications (heavy journalism and copywriting) which was not my forte so moved on to more general digital marketing role.

- May 2023 to present: working as internal general digital marketing specialist for mine site catering company.

🏆 Goal (mid-2024): planning to move to Melbourne for UX/UI designer role.

Currently upskilling in UX with Google Coursera Course called “Google UX Design Certificate” & developing my website portfolio.

I will be honest I signed up to this course 4 months ago but haven’t made much progress… so I will be posting weekly to show you guys what I learn throughout the course to keep myself accountable!
